Mark was educated in Paris and France before graduating in medieval history at King’s College, London in 1986. He is fluent in English and French.
He became a solicitor in 1991 working for major City law firms both in Paris and London. He worked initially as a tax solicitor advising on cross border transactions, subsequently becoming increasingly involved with tax and commercial litigation and with work in the High Court Chancery Division particularly in the Companies Court and In Bankruptcy.
Mark now handles all types of commercial and civil litigation for companies (including offshore companies), charities and individuals. Mark has conducted several cases in the Court of Appeal (Civil Division) which have been mentioned in the law reports.
A member of The National Council for Civil Liberties and of No2ID, Mark is committed to the promotion of civil liberties, human rights and the rule of law.
In his spare time he enjoys cycling, walking and is learning to play the piano.
